The Mediterranean (Bandol) was the scene of our first encounter with Amaury, at the time of his victory in the French Cup in the early 2000s. Since then, Amaury has become an iconic figure, a two-time World Bodyboard Champion, standing out as one of the most spectacular and dedicated riders, transcending generations...
Our common values naturally forged links, centered around the octopus (zourit in Creole), symbolizing our support for this exceptional person and immense champion.

Originally from Marseille and now based in Biarritz, he embodies the excellence of surfing in his generation. With the ability to excel in both longboard and shortboard, he combines grace and intensity with an authentic "delpero" style... His deep attachment to his roots, his exceptional performances on a global scale, his kindness, and his approachability make him the iconic ambassador of the brand.
We saw Doudou in Biarritz during the French championships, boldly engaging in both longboard and shortboard, progressing through the heats, and finishing as the French Champion in longboard and the runner-up in shortboard, all with a smile... No other French surfer had achieved such a feat before.

Éric, an exceptional second-generation surfer in the Mediterranean, has an immense passion for surfing. As a prominent figure of the Côte Bleue, he is particularly fond of barrels. During a trip to Réunion, his life takes a tragic turn when he is attacked by a shark, resulting in the amputation of his left leg above the knee joint...
With his medical team, he developed a revolutionary sports prosthesis for femoral amputees... Jonsen ISLAND's commitment to supporting adaptive sports from the beginning naturally followed Éric's actions through his Surfer Dargent association. He has become the brand's flag bearer.

The culture of bowl skating in Marseille is a true institution, with legendary skaters like Steph Andre and Vincent Matheron. Tom represents the new generation of these iconic figures, aiming to qualify for the Olympic Games.
His story with skateboarding began at the age of five at the Prado bowl, which became his playground. As the French champion in 2021 and 2022, he competes in world competitions to secure his Olympic qualification...
Tom, driven by a devouring passion for skateboarding, also harbors a love for surfing and snowboarding. It was therefore obvious for Jonsen Island to support Tom's promising career.

Bboy Enzo
Breakdance - La Seyne-sur-Mer
It has now been seven years that Enzo has shared his passion for dance with his coach, Loudjertli Kamel, within his Crew, South Style. He is very proud to be a part of the French team, the Crew Last Squad for three years, and the international team Formless.
Seeing our octopus dance in the most renowned battles in the world is an immense honor for Jonsen Island. The integration of a breaker into the Team marks a true revolution.

Apnea - Marseille
Born in Marseille, Arnaud started free diving at an early age. Today, he is recognized as one of the best free divers in the world.
Arnaud holds 8 world records, including the one for constant weight bi-fins, set in July at Dean's Blue Hole in the Bahamas during the 2023 edition, with a dive to 122 meters deep, he became the first to reach this depth in competition.
He continues to push the boundaries of freediving, inspiring other freedivers around the world with his impressive feats.
